Collection Pressed Powder Review | Little Miss E

Hello loves!

Recently I picked up the Collection pressed powder, in 18, Ivory. I'm actually really liking it so far, it stays on well and keeps my face matte. I do think the shade could be a bit light for me but its not too bad and sometimes I wear foundation so it kind of balances out. Its also really cheap at just £1.99. But the packaging is not too great as it has no mirror and the lid is not attached. The smell is really nice too, it kind of smells like baby powder and I just really like it. Its only sold at Superdrug I think.

Hello loves!

So I saw this tag on Tried and Tested Blog in September 2013 and I'm finally getting round to doing it for myself! So I'm doing the questions that she answered and the questions that she asked (I wasn't actually tagged but oh well!)

1. What's your favourite way to style your hair?

Well I try to change it quite often but at the moment I'm loving just having a messy bun

2. What's that one movie that you could re-watch over and over again?

Hmm...this is a really tough one but I would probably have to say Titanic

3. Do you have any pets?

No, I actually don't but I really want to get a another cat

4. What's on your nails right now? If nothing, what are you planning to apply next?

My nails are bare at the moment but I think I'm going to paint them with either Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream or Topshop Spilled Milk

5. What's your favourite thing about blogging?

I'm not completely sure but I'm going to say that I like the fact that I'm getting to share my thoughts and opinions with other people in a really nice, friendly community

6. Bold eyes or bold lips?

I'm going to have to say lips because I do love a bright lip colour

7. If you could only blog about one brand's products, what brand would it be?

Probably Maybeline because I really like it and it's really in-expensive

8. Your most loved/used product?

It would have to be either my Maybeline Colour Tattoo (in Pink Gold) or my Rimmel Apocalips (in Celestial)

9. Would you rather have forever flawless skin and not be able to wear any other makeup or never being able to wear a base (foundation, BB cream) but being able to wear eyeshadow, mascara, blush, eyeliner, lipstick, etc?

I would rather have forever flawless skin because other wise I would look a mess and be shiny all the time!

10. The one thing you hate about applying makeup...

I actually don't like applying blush, I just find it boring!

Swing From The Chandelier! | Little Miss E

Hello loves!

Today I felt like doing a more chatty post and I'm literally obsessed with Chandelier by Sia (hence the name of this post). I'm basically here to talk about opportunities and doing what you love.

I love doing what makes me happy and that is singing. I love it so much. Personally I don't care if I'm the worst singer in the world, if I enjoy it then I'm still going to do it. I think everyone should live by that, if it makes you happy, do it. Obviously make sure that you're not the only one who gets benefit from it though. I don't think anyone should be worried about what other people think about them. When people put you down, remember, they're just jealous and they're not worth it.

Another line in the song is "I'm gonna live like tomorrow doesn't exist, like it doesn't exist" and I think we should all do that too. Live in the moment and don't waste time worrying about tomorrow. I feel like such a hypocrite saying this but I'm trying to do it too. Not long ago there was a talent show thing at my school called 'Gig Night' and my friends Emily and Sophia were doing it, the day before the show, Emily told me that I should do it and I really wanted to but I said no. I regret that so much now, so next time an opportunity like that comes along I'm going to grab it with both hands because they had such a great time and I wish I could have been there.


Story time over, I'm going to wrap this up. I just wanted to say, don't hold back. Follow your dreams.

Would You Rather? Tag | Little Miss E

Hello loves!

1. Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lip glosses and lipsticks or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?

I would rather lose my palettes and eye shadows because I love a bit of lippy and I prefer mascara to eye shadow any day!

2. Would you rather cut off all of your hair or never be able to cut it again?

I think I'd rather cut it off because I would rather have short, healthy hair than have long, damaged hair. (and it would grow back!)

3. Pink cheek or coral cheek?

Pink, because it suits me better

4. If you had $/£1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

I think I would probably buy clothes because $/£1000 worth of makeup is too much to handle!

5. Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?

Eyeliner as lipstick because it would be easier to apply and it would look better

6. Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

I would say Sephora because it doesn't only stock one brand

7. Would you rather only use one eye shadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?

One eye shadow (Maybeline Pink Gold)  because my lips wouldn't always go with my outfit and I would get sick of one lip colour

8. Would you rather wear summer clothes in winter or winter clothes in summer?

Summer clothes in winter because I could layer up and I would rather be too cold than too hot

9. Would you rather have dark nails or light nails all year round?

Well I would probably have white nails if I had to have the same colour all year round, so I guess that counts as bright...

10. Would you rather give up your favourite lip colour or favourite eye product?

I would rather give up my favourite eye product because I could live without eye shadow

11. Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or only in a messy bun?

Probably a ponytail because I could style it and texture it etc.

12. Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never wear lip gloss?

Well I couldn't live with out nail polish so I would have to live without lip gloss and I don't really wear glosses mush anyway

13. Would you rather shave you eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in every day?

Sharpie them in because they would take ages to grow back and I think I would get used to the sharpied look

14. Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

Nail polish, because I would just wear acrylic nails, which I love!

My Top Ten Favourite Youtubers! | Little Miss E

Hello loves!

So I love watching youtubers and I do it a lot so I decided to make a list of my top ten. Of course there are loads more amazing ones out there but these are just a few that I really like!

1. Zoella & MoreZoella (Zoe)

Zoe is number one because she is an amazing person and such an inspiration to me. She isn't perfect and she knows that, that's why she is so amazing. She is so down-to-earth and relatable, her videos and vlogs are also really fun to watch. 

2. livinlikelindsey (Lindsey)

Lindsey's beauty channel was the first channel I subscribed to on YouTube and I then found her vlog channel. I still love her beauty channel but i just think her vlogs are so entertaining to watch and she's definitely my favourite vlogger.  

3. UglyFaceOfBeauty (Grace)

Grace is such an inspiration to me and I really love her. She is so real and has been through so much, I'm so proud that she is here today and is getting more and more confident every single day. She also works for Fab Fem and gives to school girls and really makes a difference.

4. eleventhgorgeous (Tracey and Stephanie)

Eleventhgorgeous is definitely one of my absolute favourite channels on YouTube! They upload so much and they are so funny and entertaining to watch! Tracey and Stephanie have such a cool relationship as sisters and I think that's why they are so entertaining to watch.

5. BeccaRose & BeccaRoseTV (Becca)

I love Becca so much! Her videos are so fun to watch, she has an amazing taste in fashion and her personality is so lovely. I would definitely recommend her channel!

6. SprinkleOfGlitter & SprinkleOfChatter (Louise)

Louise is just such a down-to-earth, lovely person and her channels are amazing. She also just happens to be best friends with Zoe (number 1)! She has an amazing family and fan base too.

7. Tanya Burr & Tanya's Vlogs 

Tanya is just so sweet and caring and I love her! She is amazing with beauty, fashion, skincare and baking. I really love her beauty channel and she has an awesome vlog channel too. (Psst...she also has an amazing lips and nails line which you can go and check out here)

8. Bethany Mota

I'm sure a lot of you will know who Bethany is but if you don't then you should go and subscribe to her right now! She's so lovely and entertaining and she even has her own clothing line at Aeropostale!

9. Psycho Soprano (Colleen)

As some of you might know, Colleen is the woman behind Miranda Sings and she is just as funny and entertaining in real life. I especially love her videos that she does every Tuesday called Colleen's Corner where she answers her viewer's questions.

10. MakeupbyMandy24 (Amanda)

Amanda is such an awesome person who is really entertaining to watch. She knows her stuff about beauty and fashion and she has a show on Polished called The Meet Up (which you should go and watch!). She also has a vlog channel.

I found this on Tumblr and I just thought it would be an interesting, different post to do. Its basic a load of questions about your body and I thought it might be interesting for you guys!

• I think my natural colour looks best on me and that is a light, caramel brown.
• Skin:Do you tan easily?
• Sometimes, but I also burn really easily so I have to COVER myself in suncream in order to tan
• Eyes:What is your favorite show to watch?
• Oh my...there's so many! I can't choose but at the moment I'm loving Orange Is The New Black!
• Nose:What is your favorite perfume/candle fragrance?
• My favourite candle scent is Pink Sands by Yankee Candle and my favourite perfume scent is Lola by Marc Jacobs, I love it!

• Well I had a toasted ham and salad cream sandwich, its sounds weird but it's amazing!

Rimmel London Colour Rush Lip Crayon | Little Miss E

Hello loves!

A couple of months ago I bought the Rimmel Colour Rush lip crayon in On Fire. Lately I have realised how much I love it! Its such a pigmented, bright lip colour and its great for summer. The smell is amazing, it smells like cocoa butter. On the packaging it claims to last really well and it does exactly that. It was also really reasonably priced and I do think red lips suits my skin tone and hair colour
